True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Men’s Cold Weather Accessories Specialist to join our growing apparel and accessories business.

You will lead product development from concept through retail execution, focusing on performance, outdoor and active cold-weather lines. Ideal candidates bring deep knowledge of performance fabrics, insulation, fleece and technical constructions, plus the ability to translate trends into commercially successful assortments for major retailers.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of performance fabrics, insulation, fleece, stretch materials and technical constructions.
• Understanding touchscreen compatibility, grip, reflective details, moisture management, thermal properties and weather protection.
• Identify outdoor and performance trends and translate them into commercial product.
• Strong understanding of men's outdoor, active and cold-weather consumers.
• Experience working with factories on materials, construction, costing, fit and product development.
• Build compelling seasonal assortments and presentations.
• Understanding of competitive brands and the outdoor/performance marketplace.
• Experience developing product for large national retailers, sporting goods chains, warehouse clubs or mass merchants.
