Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Product Engineering professional to drive development of new products within the Automotive Sensor Product Line. You will execute characterization plans, define qualification tests, perform bench validation, and work with manufacturing to ramp to high-volume production.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 2-4 years in a lab or semiconductor product testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a lab, product testing, and/or product development in a semiconductor environment.
  • Knowledge of JMP, Excel, Office Suite, LabVIEW, Python.
  • Ability to communicate with a cross functional team including the design, quality, test, and manufacturing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Execute characterization plans and report findings.
  • Create and execute qualification plans including test definitions, pre/post stress data analysis, and final reporting of results.
  • Bench validation of key product requirements, including hardware and software design and correlation with ATE data.
  • Interface with manufacturing site to ramp the product into high volume manufacturing.
  • Interface with assembly for product BOMs and building samples.
  • This role is based out of ST's office in Chandler AZ.
