MBK Senior Living in La Mesa, CA, seeks an Activity Assistant - Memory Care to support the Wellness Programming team across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will lead daily group activities, prepare spaces, and help residents feel connected and engaged.

The role requires strong people skills, a warm and professional demeanor, and a willingness to transport residents to events. Weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Associate’s degree, preferred.
• 1+ years of work experience leading groups with varying levels of physical and cognitive independence in a similar industry or environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build supportive relationships with residents to understand their interests and abilities, using insights to plan, schedule, and facilitate engaging programs.
• Escort residents to preferred programs and assist with transportation to appointments and outings.
• Prepare and manage program spaces, supplies, and materials to ensure safety and accessibility; capture photos/videos for newsletters/social media.
