Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Des Peres, Missouri is seeking a Reminiscence Supervisor to lead the memory care neighborhood and support daily operations with compassionate, resident-centered care. You will supervise the reminiscence team, champion the designated care manager model, and ensure excellence in dementia programming and family engagement.

The role emphasizes overseeing staffing, care plans, and daily activities while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care or dementia care.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office & Sunrise systems).
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the reminiscence team in daily care and operations.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling and timekeeping oversight.
• Provide direct resident care and support Life Skills programming.
• Monitor resident condition changes and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Support family meetings, education sessions and monthly support groups.
• Assist with ISPs, daily assignments and point-of-care documentation.
• Promote Resident-Centered Care and dementia-specific best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards.
• Partner with leadership on training, coaching and performance support.
