Job summary

Brookdale Vero Beach is seeking a Memory Care Program Manager to lead our Clare Bridge dementia program, delivering engaging, person-centered experiences and guiding a team of caregivers to provide compassionate care. You will design and oversee meaningful activities aligned with each resident's story and abilities, while coaching staff for consistency and excellence.

In this hands-on role, you will lead program development, collaborate with leadership on training, admissions, and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field; minimum three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full implementation of the dementia care program for residents and family engagement; coach and lead care associates to deliver person-centered programming, dining, and care.
• Collaborate with leadership on dementia training, admissions, move-in/out, hiring, and education about dementia care; plan and coordinate dementia-friendly programs for all residents.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement’s overall dementia care program as well as directly providing coaching and leadership of associates who are caregivers within the community. This includes providing oversight to ensure Care Associates deliver person centered programming, dining, and care.
• Collaborate with leadership team providing dementia training, preadmission/move-in/move out process of residents, hiring, and education of associates regarding dementia care including how to lead programs and interventions for behavioral expression. You will plan and directly coordinate a calendar of dementia friendly programs that meet the specific needs of each and all residents within the dementia care community.
• A Bachelor’s Degree such as gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field with a minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred. Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.
