Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee resident care across a senior living community. You will lead care delivery, supervise Resident Caregivers, Medication Assistants, and LPNs, and ensure quality care in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an RN or LPN license, has at least one year of supervisory experience in long-term care, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication and staff development skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN in the state where the community is located.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care, memory care, or assisted living.
• Quality assurance/improvement and staff development experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Oversees quality resident care in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines.
• Partners with Executive Director on recruiting, hiring, orientation, training and in-services for Resident Caregivers, MA, and LPNs.
• Collaborates with physicians, pharmacy and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for residents.
• Conducts comprehensive resident pre-admission, admission and quarterly assessments.
• Provides on-call support for the community.
• Ensures compliance, efficiency and understanding of policies and procedures.
