Job summary

Bellbrook Memory Care in Rochester Hills, MI, is seeking a Memory Care Nurse Assistant / Medication Technician to join our evening shift team. This opportunity includes 8-hour shifts with options for weekends, part-time or full-time, and a supportive work environment within Trinity Health.

You will provide compassionate care for residents living with dementia, assist with daily activities, administer medications, and collaborate closely with the nursing team to monitor residents’ wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Nurse Assistant and/or Medication Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver''s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents with dementia.
• Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, mobility, nutrition).
• Administer medications per physician orders and policies.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities for well-being.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and community policies
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
• Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote well-being, comfort, and social connection
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Follow all safety, security, and infection prevention protocols
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Assistant and/or Medication Technician experience preferred
