Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to create purposeful moments for seniors with memory loss at our New Jersey location. Responsibilities include developing individualized Life Skills, organizing groups, and ensuring residents engage in meaningful routines each day.

The role requires at least 1 year of memory-care experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Candidates should be able to adapt activities to cognitive abilities and lead groups.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
  • High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability
  • Experience leading group activities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities
  • Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines
  • Organize small groups and enrichment clubs
  • Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities
  • Document participation per quality standards
  • Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies
  • Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement
  • Assist residents to and from programs and activities
