Job summary

NHC Place St. Peters Memory Care is seeking an LPN or RN with memory care experience to join our team as Director of Health Services. This role directs, coordinates, and evaluates the Nursing Department and services for our Neighbors.

You will lead staffing, ensure individualized assessments and ISP updates, support orientation and education for the Nursing team, and uphold our residents’ personal, physical, and cognitive needs.

Qualifications

• Must have prior Memory Care experience.
• Must hold a Missouri LPN or RN license.
• Prior management/leadership experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate Wellness philosophy, standards, and objectives into the evaluation process for staff in the Nursing Department
• Complete and maintain individualized assessments and ISP for all Neighbors
• Interviews and hires employees as needed based on budget and community needs
• Provides orientation and education programs for Nursing department and ensures staff can demonstrate the abilities to function appropriately in their positions
• Ensures that Neighbor care interventions meet personal, physical and cognitive needs of each Neighbor as well as maximize his/her self-care capacities, identity, choice, and opportunity for social interaction
