A Better Solution In Home Care in Oceanside, CA, is seeking an HCA Caregiver to support clients with daily living activities and memory care needs. This role emphasizes reliability, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills to enhance client well-being.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, meal prep, and housekeeping, provide companionship, help with mobility and transfers, and monitor health changes. A valid background check and car are advantageous; pay starts at $19 per hour for PRN

Qualifications

• Experience caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient approach for memory-related challenges.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours with effective approaches.
• Basic first aid knowledge.
• Physical capability to assist with mobility and transfers.
• Having a car is advantageous for reliable transportation.
