Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a Memory Care Director for our Ivy Park at Escondido community in California. You will lead a Whole living approach to dementia care, partner with residents and families, and oversee care delivery, activities, and dining services to exceed expectations.

You will recruit and supervise memory care staff, ensure compliance with state regulations (Title 22), coordinate with health services, and develop personalized care plans to support independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia care and person-centered approach.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Knowledge of state regulations (Title 22) for memory care.
• Ability to coordinate with Health Services and culinary/activities teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for residents and staff; adheres to safety standards.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations (Title 22) for memory care.
• Recruits, hires, onboards, trains, motivates, and retains memory care staff.
• Coordinates staffing and schedule to meet resident needs.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, visitors, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Supports resident participation in activities and dining to meet nutrition needs.
