Job summary

The Memory Care Director will orchestrate engagements that foster purpose, spark joy, create community, and enhance the well-being of our residents. This position will lead a team of associates, provide ongoing training, and be the onsite expert for all memory care.

This full-time role will require some weekends. Responsibilities include developing individualized plans, coordinating with families and community agencies, modeling care techniques, and developing engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience with the aging process and/or disability issues.
• Experience working with memory-impaired elderly in a paid or volunteer position.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the geriatric field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public.
• Ability to be flexible and work in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
• Valid driver’s license.
