Job summary

Maplewood at Danbury LLC in Danbury, CT is seeking a full-time Memory Care Coordinator to plan and facilitate daily programs for residents, coordinating with other departments to ensure engaging programming and an outstanding experience for residents and their families.

The role requires experience in activity planning with older adults, familiarity with dementia, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license is required; driving may be part of the job.

Qualifications

• Experience in activity planning with older adults preferred.
• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing facility preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia and related issues.
• Experience and interest in working with older adults.
• Evidence of creativity and organization.
• Driver license with good driving record; may be required to take a driving test.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate daily programs and activities for residents.
• Collaborate with other departments to engage residents in programming.
• Provide an excellent customer experience for residents and families.
• Ensure resident involvement through one-on-one, small group, and large group activities.
