Job summary

Aurora Care Management is seeking a CNA to support resident care in a compassionate facility setting. The role involves administering medications, assisting with ADLs, documenting status updates, and coordinating with the nursing team.

The candidate will monitor vital signs, maintain clean medication areas, and help with meals and mobility across shifts, ensuring safety and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified.
• Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Accurate documentation and charting of resident information.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication and treatments as assigned within scope of practice.
• Passes morning, afternoon and evening medications as scheduled and as needed.
• Maintains upkeep and cleanliness of medication carts and room; stock as needed.
• Records and restocks medications with pharmacy no later than 7 days before depletion; locks away narcotics.
• Maintains confidential resident medication and care records and documents changes in logs.
• Records vital signs as ordered and reports abnormalities.
• Assists with ADLs and care tasks for residents.
• Communicates with physicians, families and appropriate staff about resident status and changes.
• Assists with ambulation, meals, and transfers between areas.
• Responds to emergencies and follows disaster and fire safety procedures.
