Job summary

Solace Glen at Cypresswood, Spring, TX, is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join Frontier Senior Living's Solace Glen community. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting dining and transportation to appointments.

Shifts include Day 6am-2pm with PRN options across all shifts; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and prior elder-care experience is welcome though training is provided. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred and maintained.
• Willingness to train and support elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all resident care needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Notifies supervisors of changes in resident condition.
• Assists in dining room during meals: set-up, service, and clearing tables.
• Helps residents participate in scheduled activities and get to appointments.
• Assists with getting residents ready and to the lobby for appointments.
• Reports any change in condition to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Capable of taking vital signs and weights.
• Assist with mobility and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Maintains First Aid/CPR as directed.
