The Caregiver is a vital member of our community, dedicated to providing the highest degree of quality care and services. They assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including but not limited to personal and dental hygiene, transportation to meals and activities, and bodily functions. Caregivers are responsible for delivering exceptional hands‑on care while supporting the social and emotional well‑being of MBK residents with compassion and superior customer service, as outlined in each resident’s Individualized Service Plan, while prioritizing dignity, privacy, and safety in accordance with all policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
Experience Requirements (in years): 1+ years of prior caregiving experience within a similar work environment preferred; on-the-job training is available for candidates with the right attitude and desire.
Physical Demands & Work Environment: Must be mobile and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, including walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, pulling, reaching overhead, and repetitive motion. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push up to 250 pounds, as necessary. Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, in the community, and between neighborhoods. Ability to assist in the physical movement of residents during routine transfers and in emergency situations.
