Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Littleton is looking for an experienced Memory Care Caregiver for Monday to Friday mornings. The ideal candidate will support clients with memory loss through personal care, companionship, and activities that promote comfort and independence.

You will work in a structured morning schedule from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults. We offer competitive pay of $19 to $25 per hour, along with benefits that include 401(k) contributions and paid travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience required.
• Ability to work with clients living with memory-related conditions.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

What You'll Be Doing

Your mornings will focus on helping our client have a safe, comfortable, and engaging start to the day by providing:

• Personal care and assistance with morning routines
• Compassionate companionship and meaningful conversation
• Memory care support with patience, encouragement, and reassurance
• Gentle redirection and engagement in activities that promote comfort and independence

Most importantly, you'll bring kindness, consistency, and a calm presence that helps our client and their family feel supported every day.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience required in a facility or for an in-home care agency
• Experience working with clients living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other memory-related conditions (in-home care or a memory care/facility setting)
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver’s license, reliable vehicle & auto insurance
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass background & CAPS checks
• Three professional references
• TB test within 30 days of hire
• A calm, patient, compassionate personality with excellent communication skills
