Job summary

Allegro Fort Lauderdale is seeking a warm Memory Care Activity Assistant to support life enrichment in the Ensemble Care neighborhood. This part-time role runs two days per week, offering meaningful moments and connections with residents.

You will lead person-centered activities, coordinate music, reminiscence, crafts, and social engagement, and help provide a warm, stimulating environment. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in memory care, assisted living, school teaching, or related settings.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Warm, patient, and creative personality with the ability to connect with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engaging, person-centered activities for Memory Care residents.
• Create meaningful daily moments through music, reminiscence, sensory experiences, crafts, and social engagement.
• Build genuine relationships with residents, honoring their stories and abilities.
• Assist with resident transportation and community outings as needed.
