LivingLegendsHealth is seeking a full-time Memory Care Certified Activity Aide at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville, NY. This role involves supporting engaging activities for residents with dementia while ensuring a safe and compassionate environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of experience in a similar setting, strong communication skills, and a patient approach to care. The position offers a competitive rate of $21-$23 per hour and a sign-on bonus up to $3,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience working with dementia population required.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach to care.
• Ability to lead activities independently and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and leading memory care activity programs.
• Engage residents in therapeutic group and individual activities.
• Transport and assist residents to activities and meals.
• Maintain activity attendance records and assist with monthly scheduling.
• Set up, clean up, and maintain activity equipment and supplies.
