Job summary

Brightview Senior Living in Bel Air, MD, is seeking a Vibrant Living Assistant for our Wellspring Village to help residents enjoy each day through engaging activities. You’ll know residents well, plan spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming, and bring energy to events.

You’ll lead games, art, music, and social activities, encourage participation, and share highlights via newsletters and social channels.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect with residents and learn about them.
• Use talents in singing, dancing, art, poetry, history, or trivia.
• Positive attitude and passion for helping others.
• Active driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging programming across spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional facets.
• Organize and run activities such as games, painting, singing, and music.
• Encourage participation in activities and programs.
• Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily happenings.

At Brightview Senior Living, our Wellspring Village is home to residents with Dementia and other cognitive care needs. The Vibrant Living Assistant in the Wellspring Village will play a key role in helping our residents enjoy each and every day.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the residents of Brightview so that you can help with the planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming that will make residents feel engaged and fulfilled.
• Participate in activities. Residents love games, painting, singing, and music and we need someone to help organize and run these events!
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs.
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase the fun things happening each day!

Salary Range

USD $17.50 - USD $20.25 /Hr.

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.
