Job summary

Distinctive Living in Naples, FL is seeking an Activities Assistant (Part-Time) for Fairways at Naples Memory Care Facility. You will assist with coordinating activities, assess resident preferences, and communicate with the department head.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred associate or bachelor's in related field, and experience in assisted living or memory care. Valid driver's license required and proficient in Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Services, Business, or related field.
• Prior supervisory/management experience.
• Minimum of three years' experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident interests and activity needs at move-in.
• Encourage participation while respecting preferences.
• Decorate common areas and prep for events.
• Prepare activity room and clean after activities.
• Observe residents and report needs to supervisor.
• Assist with group and one-on-one activities.
• Foster teamwork and take initiative to help others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
