The ideal candidate will focus on supporting individuals living with memory impairment, ensuring they have meaningful recreational experiences. Responsibilities include organizing activities, providing interactions, and maintaining supplies. A background in healthcare recreation and experience working with seniors is essential. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Formación

• Experienced in recreation or activities in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working with individuals living with dementia required.
• Patient, dependable, and comfortable in a hands-on environment.
• Creative and enthusiastic with a passion for working with seniors.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, prepare, and lead recreational activities for residents.
• Provide interactions to encourage participation.
• Adapt activities to meet varying cognitive and physical needs.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities.
• Maintain activity supplies and prepare program areas.
• Complete light documentation.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Foster a positive environment for residents.
