Silverado Southlake is seeking a part-time Resident Engagement (Activities) Assistant to bring joy, engagement, and meaningful moments to residents daily. You will help plan and lead activities, support therapy sessions, and foster a caring, energetic atmosphere in a memory care setting.

Qualifications

• English communication required (verbal and written).
• Reliable transportation is required for attendance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable around animals.
• Willingness to work with individuals with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
