Job summary

Silverado Beverly Place in Los Angeles is seeking a Full Time Resident Engagement Assistant (PM) to bring joy and purpose to residents through engaging recreational programs. You will help plan and lead daily activities, organize memory enrichment for small groups, and support music and therapy sessions with creativity and compassion.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, and reliable transportation. Prior memory care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate their achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
