You will develop monthly calendars, coordinate social clubs and events, mentor staff, and help with assessments, safety, and activity materials.

Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; 6+ months in memory care or senior living; basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months in memory care, senior living, or recreation services.
• Basic proficiency in computer business software.

Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Conduct engaging daily activities that encourage resident participation.
• Resident Interaction: Foster meaningful connections by modeling and encouraging participation in recreational programs.
• Event Planning: Assist in creating monthly calendars, newsletters, and resident social clubs.
• Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams to implement memory care programming effectively.
• Resident Support: Assist with pre-move-in procedures, assessments, and emotional and social support.
• Community Engagement: Organize and attend family support groups, outings, and special events.
• Team Training: Mentor staff and volunteers on best practices for engaging with residents.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain a safe and supportive environment while ensuring proper activity supplies and materials.
