Job summary

The University of New Mexico Neurology Department seeks a behavioral or cognitive neurologist to join the Memory and Aging team in an open rank, clinician educator track. You will contribute to clinical care of cognitive disorders and collaborate with CMA and ADRC.

Academic duties include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows and engaging in dementia research with state-of-the-art neuroimaging and biomarkers. Strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent required.
• Board certification/eligibility in Neurology or Psychiatry preferred.
• Experience in dementia, ADRD, or cognitive disorders is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for individuals with cognitive disorders as part of Memory and Aging team.
• Engage in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; participate in research activities.
