Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Membrane/Dryer CIP Operator to join the production team in Idaho. The role focuses on ensuring accurate documentation, GMP compliance, and efficient operation of dryer and membrane production lines.

You will troubleshoot, operate, clean, and maintain equipment while communicating effectively with team members and supervisors. Strong adherence to safety and sanitation is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Production plant environment experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMPs and SOPs and strong documentation
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Performs pre-operational checks on equipment before starting a process.
  • Reviews in-process product components per SOPs.
  • Maintains production and sanitation log sheets accurately.
  • Operates and cleans equipment per SOPs and documents outputs.
  • Monitors CIP systems and chemical usage; reports issues to supervisor.

SHIFT:

  • Day Shift (6:00am-6:30pm).

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Membrane/Dryer CIP Operator is an integral member of the production team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all documentation. This role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation requirements, and performance measures. The CIP Operator must possess comprehensive knowledge of both Dryer and Membrane production lines and equipment, and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Additionally, this position involves operating, cleaning, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, while effectively utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completes pre-operational checks on all equipment before starting a process.
  • Checks components of in-process product in accordance with published SOP's.
  • Reviews department and system performances daily. Offers ideas and suggestions on how to improve the quality of the product or process.
  • Follows published SSOP's for equipment and processes.
  • Collects all samples in accordance with SOP's.
  • Completes all work instructions, production log sheets, and sanitation log sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Operates equipment in accordance with SOP's. Make corrections-based system out-puts and operational data.
  • Monitors and documents chemical additions and consumption compared to standards. Informs supervisor of any issues or concerns.
  • Verifies CIP systems performance and drives CIP efficiency.
  • Supports the "Dry Floor" program in the dryer area. Continuously monitors all aspects of the production process for leaks and spills; Takes immediate corrective action and informs the supervisor.
  • Arrives for work on time and ready to help operate the business successfully.
  • Operates and cleans processing equipment in accordance with the production plan.
  • Offers ideas and suggestions on "How to Improve" the process and System SOP's, SSOP's and Sanitation Program.
  • Complies with all OSHA and plant published safety regulations.
  • Submits ideas and suggestions on how to improve safety.
  • Communicates safety issues and concerns to the Production Supervisor.
  • Participates as a member of the team and treating others in like manner.
  • The individual must be willing to learn new concepts, accept and embrace change.
  • Prepares for yearly review of personal performance.
  • Completes other projects as assigned.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work-related experience.

Experience:

  • Production plant environment experience a plus.
  • Industrial production operator experience a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of Dryer and Membrane production lines and equipment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation and compliance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Excessive ascending and/or descending of ladders and stairs using feet and legs and/or hands and arms on a regular basis. Body agility is emphasized.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for short distances on a regular basis.
  • Repetitive motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Repetitive moving of arms and repetitive bending over to perform Dryer dig outs every other day for up to 4 consecutive hours at a time using a shovel.
  • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time on concrete.
  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist on a regular basis.
  • Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
  • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward.
  • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees occasionally.
  • Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
  • Lifting: Able to lift up to 25lbs on a regular basis and up to 75lbs occasionally.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Includes activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Occasional crawling and bending in a confined space for continuous periods of time.
  • Subject to up to at least 92db's.
  • Subject to extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees on a regular basis.
