Job summary

American Public Health Association seeks a dedicated Member Services Specialist II to drive membership growth, retention, and engagement in a hybrid Washington, DC area setting. The role handles inquiries, outbound outreach, and program administration for student, bulk, and agency memberships.

You will support onboarding, new member engagement, and community initiatives while maintaining accurate iMIS data and coordinating webinars and messaging across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of membership, sales, customer service, or business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound membership inquiries by phone and email with consultative support.
• Conduct outbound calls to promote APHA membership offerings and value propositions.
• Manage STB student bulk membership enrollment, billing coordination, and data activation.
• Coordinate new member onboarding webinars and bi-monthly engagement campaigns.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate iMIS records and timely renewals.
