Council of Korean Americans in Washington, DC, is seeking a Director of Membership to grow national recruitment, engagement, and communications for its member network. Reporting to the President, you will lead a high-touch program and mentor the Community Engagement Manager.

You will set annual membership growth goals, partner with development colleagues to support long-term sustainability, and build pathways from participation to leadership within CKA’s future.

Competenze

• 5–7+ years in membership, external relations, or constituent engagement.
• Experience managing staff or leading team-wide projects.
• Track record of building relationships that grow into long-term organizational support.

Mansioni

• Design and implement a national recruitment strategy for CKA membership.
• Build nomination and referral pathways through members, the board, and partners.
• Set annual goals for membership growth, retention, and renewals and report progress.
• Create high-touch engagement through convenings, affinity groups, and outreach.
• Oversee member communications standards and coordination with the Communications & Social Media Manager.
