YMCA Playhouse Attendant is tasked with creating a safe, engaging space for children in the playhouse area. You will supervise activities, lead age-appropriate play, and keep the space clean and organized to support positive experiences for families.

The role requires 16+ with strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is expected. YMCA benefits include membership and professional development opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise children in the playhouse at all times.
• Ensure safety and well-being by following YMCA policies.
• Conduct regular headcounts and monitor activities to prevent accidents.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents.
• Adapt activities to meet needs of individuals and group.
• Greet parents and children warmly upon arrival and departure.
• Communicate with parents about the child's experience and concerns.
• Provide feedback to the Program Director on program success and improvements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized playhouse area.
• Sanitize toys, equipment, and surfaces regularly.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and report needs to the Program Director.

The Playhouse Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children in the YMCA playhouse area. The attendant ensures the well-being of the children. leads activities, and maintains a clean and organized space. This role requires a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.

Responsibiities:

• Supervise children in the playhouse are at all times
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following the YMCA policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular headcounts and monitor children's activities to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Respond promptly and appropiately to any emergencies or incidents.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of individuals children and the group.
• Greet parents and children warmly upon arrival and depature.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's experience and any issues or concerns.
• Provide feedback to the Program Director on program success and area for improvement.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized playhouse area.
• Sanitize toys,equipment, and surfaces regulary to prevent the spread of germs.
• Ensure that supplies are stocked and reports any needs to the Program Director.

Additional Duties:

• Maintain accurate attendance records
• Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the Program Director immediately.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement 16yrs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience working with children in a early education, camp or similar settings.
• CPR & First AId Certification ( willimgness to obtain upon hire).
