Responsibilities
- Provides member service.
- Maintains the checkout area.
- Resolves member issues and concerns.
- Promotes Sam’s Club products and services.
- Provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology.
- Processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures.
- Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
- Handles merchandise following proper procedures, correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, addresses member needs, arranges merchandise, and ensures a safe shopping environment.
- Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, transporting items, and securing company assets by observing potential criminal activity.
- Maintains paperwork, logs, and other documentation; executes emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
- Assists in training new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaches new technology and tool functionality, and delivers new program rollout training.
- Supports continuous learning, process improvement, and identifies shrink and damages.
- Completes work assignments using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners, prioritizing tasks and recommending improvement opportunities.

Live Better U is a company‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short‑form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*.
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
