Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises in Austin, TX is seeking an entry-level Insurance and Membership Services Support specialist. Join a fast-paced branch network to interface with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services, supported by paid training and performance-based rewards.

You will learn about AAA products, advance through skills-based pay increases and monthly bonuses, and contribute to excellent member service both in-branch and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Interface with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Provide exceptional service in-branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership, and billing.
• Perform routine duties in support of agents and team members.
• Be available during branch hours (Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm) and one Saturday per month.

This is an exciting entry level position in our branch network and ideal for candidates interested working in a teamwork environment and interfacing with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support.

In this role you will:

• Be provided with the training you need on an array of AAA products and services to interface with members with confidence and help you meet your individual and team cross-selling goals.

• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties.
• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Be expected to be available during our branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.
• Must be flexible to work one Saturday per month.
• We are closed most weekends and most holidays.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in customer service/sales environment, insurance, retail sales, banking, and hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to travel locally when necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics
• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
• Ability to obtain for Property and Casualty License
