Job summary

AAA - American Automobile Association is hiring an entry-level Member Specialist to support insurance and membership services for AAA members. You will engage with customers in-branch and over the phone, handling inquiries while contributing to cross-selling goals.

The ideal candidate brings strong customer service experience, superb communication, and teamwork. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and benefits including health coverage and a pension plan.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interact with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support.

Member Specialist Well Known AAA Brand Products and Service Excellent Earning Potential Paid Training

If you are a career-minded, service-driven professional looking to join a fast-paced organization then you have come to the right place. This is an exciting entry level position in our branch network and ideal for candidates interested working in a teamwork environment and interfacing with AAA members by providing insurance and membership services support.

In this role you will:

• Be provided with the training you need on an array of AAA products and services to interface with members with confidence and help you meet your individual and team cross-selling goals.
• Be given opportunities to advance with skills-based pay increases, monthly bonuses, and career growth.

• Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties.
• Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Be expected to be available during our branch hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
• We are closed weekends and most holidays.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking, or similar customer service/sales environment
• Advanced customer service skills
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to travel locally when necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics
• Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
• Ability to qualify for Property and Casualty License
