Wescom Central Credit Union in Corona, CA seeks a dedicated Member Service Representative to deliver consultative service to members, help with memberships, accounts, and loan applications, and ensure accurate data entry and compliance.
You will balance cash drawer, process deposits and withdrawals, refer members to Wescom products, and support branch operations while upholding the credit union’s mission and core values.
Provides consultative services to members regarding credit union products and services by assessing member needs. Assists members in establishing memberships, loan accounts, share accounts, and savings services, completing necessary documents, performing data entry, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Processes member transactions and serves as the first point of contact between the credit union and members. Promotes member engagement by providing accurate, timely information on products and services and actively referring members to appropriate Wescom offerings.
Consistently delivers a high level of service and is committed to increasing member satisfaction by using a consultative approach in all interactions. Demonstrates adherence to branch service standards and the enforcement of Wescom’s Mission Statement, Vision, Core Values and Team Attributes. Acts as an advocate to resolve member issues at the first point of contact and focuses on delivering a positive member experience.
Regularly performs platform and teller activities, including:
Member Service Representative III (MSR II) eligibility may be pursued upon approval by Branch Management and relevant supervisory personnel, requiring licensure in either life insurance and fixed annuities (option I) or property and casualty insurance (option II).
High School graduate. Previous financial industry and customer service experience preferred. Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration and Notary Public license are required. Maintain these credentials throughout employment. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and credit union operating and specialized systems. Strong mathematical abilities including basic calculations, rates, ratios, and percentages. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching, lifting up to 10 pounds, and visual requirements such as close, distance, and color vision. Work environment is moderately quiet, non‑smoking, and requires professional appearance and punctuality.
