Job summary

Digital Federal Credit Union in Framingham, MA seeks a member-focused professional to identify member needs, educate on products, and build trusted relationships. You will open memberships, accounts and loans, deliver notary services, and ensure every step meets guidelines.

You’ll handle teller duties, assist with balancing, and process loans while maintaining compliance and striving for service excellence. The role includes occasional coverage in other DCU areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years related experience.
• Verbal Communication skills.
• Technical skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify members' financial needs by building rapport and cross-sell appropriate products and services.
• Open memberships, accounts and loans using established guidelines and self-service options; conduct Notary Public services.
• Process loan requests, verify conditions, and ensure documents are complete before loan closings.
• Handle teller transactions and assist with end-of-day balancing, Instant Issuance and ATM balancing.
• Maintain audits of membership applications and loan files, ensuring policy compliance.
• Provide coverage in other DCU areas as needed and suggest efficiency improvements.

Description

Contribute to DCU's Success Sharing and business goals by identifying member's needs, providing service excellence and helping members achieve their financial goals.

What You'll Do:

• Identify the financial needs of new and existing members by building rapport and establishing strong business relationships; educate and cross sell appropriate products and services, make qualified referrals and achieve assigned sales goals.
• Understand and explain all DCU products and services. Open new memberships, accounts and loans utilizing established guidelines and self-service options and conduct Notary Public services.
• Utilize established guidelines to obtain Lending Authority, process loan requests, confirm all conditions have been met and verify the integrity of the documents prior to conducting loan closings.
• Accurately process teller transactions, assist with end of day balancing, Instant Issuance and ATM balancing.
• Conduct audits of all membership applications, account maintenance forms, new account applications and completed loan files
• Adhere to all DCU policies and procedures, which include security compliance and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.
• May be asked to provide coverage in other DCU areas such as other branches, the Information Center or support departments.
• Continuously identify and submit efficiency and process improvement ideas
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Location:

Target Compensation:

$21.50 per hour

Schedule

Mon - Fri 8:30 - 5:30, alt. Thurs/Fridays 10:30-7:30, alt Saturdays 8:30 - 3:30
