Job summary

Self-Help is a national nonprofit financial organization committed to economic justice. We are seeking a front-line teller to initiate conversations, assess member needs, and maintain account relationships in our Ohio location.

You’ll process share deposits, loan payments, payrolls, and transfers, manage cash drawers, and work as part of a dual-control team. Bilingual English/Spanish applicants are required; high school diploma preferred and previous cash handling or customer service experience

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
• Minimum one year experience in financial institution or other customer service industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.
• Preference for working in organizations that place priority on teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify and assess member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships by providing excellent member service.

• Maintain drawer cash levels within prescribed amounts.
• Post and Log night, ATM, and mail deposits. (Part of dual-control team).

Hourly Range:

Hourly Range: $23.00 - $26.77
