Job summary

Elijahhouseliving is seeking a dedicated frontline team member to greet members and deliver high levels of service at our warehouse location. You will assist with loading orders, set up and closing duties, stocking, and maintaining a clean, safe front-end area.

You may help customers with self-checkouts and monitor registers for accuracy to ensure smooth operations. This role requires reliability in a fast-paced retail environment, willingness to assist across departments, and ability to operate

Responsibilities

• Greets members, helps load orders onto conveyor belt, determines packing preferences, answers questions, explains promotions, assists cashier by counting items left in cart, checks under items and positions for scanning.
• Packs orders into boxes and loads to cart, checks packaging for tampering, follows safety and security procedures, assists members loading orders into car.
• Assists with self-checkouts by scanning heavy merchandise and entering item numbers.
• Monitors registers for errors and keeps belt area clean.
• Maintains cleanliness of register area and front-end; cleans spills and trip hazards.
• Sets up and closes the department, returns products, collects paperwork, stocks registers, cleans area.
• Transfers pallets from receiving to shelves or sales floor.
• Assists with stocking, ensures correct signage, labels unmarked products with item numbers.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Assists in other departments as necessary.
• Operates vehicles, equipment or machinery as needed.
