Bellco Credit Union in Colorado is seeking a Member Service Advisor III to handle transactions and member services in both lobby and drive-up, delivering accurate, professional service while promoting Bellco products. You will open new accounts, submit applications, support and close loans, and navigate Bellco's systems.

The Member Service Advisor III processes a variety of financial transactions and member services in both lobby and drive-up in a timely, accurate and professional manner while providing exceptional member service. Maintains thorough knowledge of all Credit Union products and services. Consistently evaluates sales opportunities, makes recommendations or offers products and services. Establishes new accounts for potential and existing members. Submits applications, provides support for and closes loans for members.
Reports to: Branch Manager
Supervisory or Managerial Responsibility: None
Contacts: Credit Union members and their employers, Credit Union officials, Credit Union branches/departments, vendors and appropriate external financial service providers.
High School diploma or equivalent
Six months teller experience or equivalent cash handling, and/or customer service.
One year of sales or customer service experience preferred, six months or more experience with Bellco or in financial services preferred. Lending experience preferred.

Office environment. Continuous hours of standing. Varied hours and travel to other locations may be necessary.
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data and update member financial records. Ability and willingness to identify needs and sell appropriate products and services. Ability to obtain and perform Notary services.
Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
