Job summary

Profound is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer for its NYC or SF on-site offices. You will design and scale systems powering rapid growth, build IaC workflows, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure deployments in a high-ownership environment.

The role emphasizes cloud architecture, container orchestration, observability, and performance tuning to handle high throughput and low latency at scale.

Qualifications

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will build and scale the systems that power our rapid growth. You will ensure our infrastructure is highly available, cost-effective, and able to handle explosive traffic and compute demands. You will work closely with engineers across product, research, and operations to design scalable architectures, streamline deployments, and improve observability.

This is an on-site role based in our NYC or SF office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact. We are happy to support visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $175,000 to $260,000 (NYC and SF). Comp may vary by location. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
