ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a small, highly technical team building infrastructure that helps enterprise AI agents improve through production feedback. This backend-leaning full-stack role offers ownership of core systems and product features that make agent evaluation and continuous improvement useful to customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build backend systems for agent evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Improve data models for evaluation datasets, experiment runs, agent traces, knowledge versions, findings, and customer-defined quality criteria.
- Own enterprise integrations across authentication, OAuth, webhooks, incremental syncs, backfills, rate limits, retries, monitoring, and production support.
- Take features from technical design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, customer feedback, and iteration.
- Work with customers to understand their systems, diagnose failures, and turn specific needs into reusable product capabilities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to six years of experience as a backend-leaning full-stack software engineer, with most experience focused on backend development.
- Production experience building systems for enterprise customers, including ownership of data models, pipelines or queues, or enterprise integrations.
- Comfort shipping user interfaces with TypeScript and React; Python experience is preferred.
- Experience with relational and vector databases and cloud environments.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience at both a large company and an early-stage startup with fewer than 50 people, including meaningful ownership at the startup.
- Background in AI agents, LLMs, or evaluation and QA is helpful; founder experience or hackathon participation is also valued.
- Must have US work authorization, such as citizenship, permanent residency, or OPT with multiple years remaining. Immediate visa transfer or sponsorship is not available.
