A Series A company building deterministic, pixel-perfect reinforcement learning environments and trajectory datasets is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer. They work alongside leading research teams to push model capability boundaries, and several of the top AI labs are already paying customers. $25M raised to date, a team of 12 growing to 18 by the end of the year.

The role sits between their platform and what frontier lab customers need next. It is a fast-moving generalist job: ad hoc customer requests, shaping data, spinning up dashboards, handcrafting RL tasks and building quick features, all on tight timelines at the cutting edge of post-training and agent research.

What they will be doing

• Shaping data created by human experts to fit the specific requirements of frontier AI lab customers
• Building quick plugins, features or temporary improvements to existing data collection systems
• Handcrafting reinforcement learning task samples tailored to customer needs
• Spinning up customer-facing interfaces such as dashboards and portals on short timelines
• Identifying when a one-off custom build should be generalized into the core platform
