As a Member of Technical Staff and AI Agent Development Lead, you will steer design, development, and deployment of next‑gen AI agents, collaborating with research, product, and engineering teams to deliver reliable AI technology

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical teams in AI or ML engineering, preferably building AI agents or assistants.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (JAX, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Deep understanding of language models, reinforcement learning, and AI safety/alignment concepts.

The Opportunity

As a Member of Technical Staff and AI Agent Development Lead, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of next‑generation AI agents that interact with users and complex environments. You will drive the architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable AI systems, working closely with research, product, and engineering teams to build safe, interpretable, and performant AI technology.

What You’ll Do

About You

• Proven experience leading technical teams in AI or machine learning engineering, preferably building AI agents or assistants.
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern ML frameworks (JAX, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Deep understanding of language models, reinforcement learning, and AI safety/alignment concepts.
• Experience with scalable system design and cloud infrastructure.
• Passion for AI safety, interpretability, and user‑centered AI development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with large language models or conversational AI.
• Background in research and development of AI alignment or safety techniques.
• Experience with developer tools and APIs for AI integration.

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $256,000 to $276,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
