Job summary

Alabama ONE Credit Union is seeking a Teller to serve as the front-line ambassador, handling routine financial transactions and providing information and recommendations to members. You will help ensure an excellent member experience and uphold the credit union’s standards and dress code.

The role requires accurate cash handling, attention to detail, and the ability to process deposits, withdrawals, and payments while maintaining records and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Sells money orders and other negotiable instruments to members.
• Transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
• Posts transactions to member accounts and maintains member records.
• Daily opens and closes computer terminal accounts for assigned cash and balances reports.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information regarding credit union records.
• Welcomes member inquiries and makes referrals to products and services as needed.
• Supports client relationship management through member service focused interactions.
