Small Door is seeking a Hospitality-forward Member Experience teammate in New York City to own front-of-house communications across phone, Slack, and in person. You will manage schedules, guide members through visits, and support billing with warmth, maintaining a smooth flow in a busy practice.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in hospitality, excellent communication, empathy for anxious clients, and comfort with billing concepts; weekend availability is required for this role in a multi-location

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a hospitality-forward role; veterinary or medical exposure is a plus.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly while maintaining quality.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Empathetic approach for anxious or emotional clients.
• Familiar with medical billing concepts or eager to learn.
• Comfort with Slack and scheduling systems; tech-savvy.
• 40 hours per week, including one weekend day.

Responsabilités

• Own front-of-house communication across phone, Slack, Dialpad, and in person.
• Manage appointment scheduling, wait times, and real-time flow.
• Support members through various visits with warmth and steadiness.
• Handle billing communications, send estimates, follow up on items.
• Coordinate with nurses, doctors, other practices and telehealth staff.
• Assist with front-of-house clinical support like prescriptions hand-off.
• Drive proactive member outreach and Google review solicitation.
• Collect member feedback and route to appropriate channels.
• Maintain a clean, on-brand, welcoming environment.
