Job summary

Industrious is seeking a Member Experience Associate for an on-site role in Houston, TX. You will be at the heart of the member experience, greeting guests, preparing the office, and ensuring a seamless first day for new members.

You will manage inventory, design signage, assist with IT issues, and support local events to demonstrate the value of flexible workspace solutions. Strong teamwork and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Ability to operate office equipment (printers, dishwashers, etc.).
• Ability to assist with IT/wifi issues and troubleshoot.
• Interest in events and helping members feel welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare office for the day: brew coffee, set breakfast, stock shared amenities.
• Manage inventory and order location supplies.
• Create signage and design event materials to enhance the member experience.
• Add new members into systems to ensure a seamless first day.
• Assist members with IT or wifi issues as needed.
• Participate in local marketing events to showcase Industrious solutions.

About the Role:

This is an in-person hospitality role, based on site 5 days a week. Candidates must live within an easy commute of Houston, TX. To help, our compensation package includes some great commuter benefits!

As a Member Experience Associate at Industrious, you will be the heart of the member experience, truly aiming to create great days for all who enter your office. While your day may not look the same, here’s what it could look like:

• You are the first face people see while you’re preparing the office for the day: brewing coffee, setting out breakfast, and stocking shared amenities.
• You’re proactive and take ownership over managing inventory and ordering your location’s supplies.

• You add new members into multiple systems so their first day in their office is seamless and memorable.
• You assist a member with IT or wifi issues should they ever come up - no job is too big or too small for you to tackle.
• You dip your toe in local marketing events - ensuring any prospective member knows the true value of our flexible solutions.
• You take a walk in-tour while your Member Experience Manager is assisting another potential member.

Requirements:

• Perform repetitive tasks requiring frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and walk for extended periods throughout the day.
• Capable of operating machines / appliances as necessary, including printers, dishwashers, blenders, snack carts, knives, kitchen utensils, etc.
• Participate in food preparation and cleaning duties, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of cleaning chemicals, and equipment.
• Ensure work areas are kept in a sanitary condition and all safety protocols are followed.

The hourly compensation for this position starts at $23.50. The successful candidate’s actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job related knowledge, skills and professional qualifications.

You will also be eligible for a number of generous perks including:

• Fixed hours to give you stability
• Commuter Stipend of $150 / quarter
• Travel stipend $150/ annually (after 90 days)
• End of Year Bonus of $1500
• Sick pay as required by law
• Benefits bundle through Sequoia

Base and bonus compensation are just two components of Industrious’ total compensation package that may be available to employees.
