Job summary

Costco is seeking a frontline associate in California to greet members, assist with loading orders, and provide excellent service at the front end. You will help with stocking, cleanup, and closing duties while ensuring safety and adherence to department procedures.

The role supports self-checkout activity and requires ability to operate basic equipment. Open availability is preferred to meet business needs and government work authorization will be checked.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and helps with loading orders onto conveyor belts, answers questions, and explains promotions.
• Packs orders into boxes, checks packaging for tampering, and assists with loading orders into cars.
• Assists with self-checkouts, monitors registers for errors, and keeps belt areas clean.
• Maintains cleanliness of the front-end area and performs setup/closing duties for the department.
• Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as needed.
