Job summary

Sam's Club in Lebanon, TN is seeking a dedicated Cart Attendant to greet members, keep the parking lot neat, and ensure carts and flatbeds are ready for use. You will assist members with loading purchases, answer questions, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Position Summary

We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensure there are carts ready and available. You will also assist our members helping them load their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you.

What you'll do

Maintains safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps following procedures for handling merchandise and correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management. Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs assisting members resolving member issues and concerns promoting the companys products and services organizing and maintaining availability of cartsflatbeds assisting members with transporting items utilizing cart retrieval equipment according to company policies and procedures and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback. Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy: and applying these in executing business processes and practices. The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Incentives. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
