Job description

We are looking for energetic and dependable individuals to add to our team. A great attitude and being team-oriented are a must. We are a premier fondue restaurant. Our mission is to provide the Perfect Night Out to our guests and a positive work environment for our team members. We offer a warm, friendly, and positive environment that promotes teamwork. We offer highly competitive hourly pay, meal benefits, and opportunity to grow. Our hours of operation are family and student-friendly. We close at 9 pm every day except Friday and Saturday, which is 10 pm. We are looking for both full and part-time. The Melting Pot is a great supplemental income job for those with day jobs or school.

SUMMARY

The Prep Person is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the prep area and food items. He/she must provide a positive, consistent leadership role model to hourly staff; ensuring total guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Immediately documents and reports repairs and maintenance issues.
• Positive interaction between service staff and other team members.
• Effective time management.
• Practices teamwork by communicating with and assisting all members of the restaurant team.
• Uses checklists to ensure proper set-up and close down of each shift.
• Follows all of the company’s specifications and procedures to ensure Perfect Food.
• Follows and uses all food safety procedures and logs.
• Follows all food rotation and re-stocking procedures using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
