Northrop Grumman Mission System's Engineering and Sciences (E&S) Baltimore and Partnered Sites (BaPs) Division is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals at our Melbourne Engineering Center (MEC). The Melbourne Engineering Center (MEC) primarily supports UAV systems such as the Global Hawk, Triton, and NATO AGS. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is a trusted provider of mission-enabling solutions for global security. This position will be in Melbourne, FL, and is a full time on-site role.
In this role, you will work within an established signal processing and data analysis organization that tackles challenging MTI, SAR, and embedded software problems. You will develop sensor system modes and advanced signal- and data-processing algorithms, taking them from initial mathematical and analytical derivation through testing and verification using both simulated and real sensor data. You will also contribute to mode design and perform statistical analysis of system performance to help deliver high-confidence, mission-ready solutions.
