The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-eligible or tenure-ineligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level, with a subspecialty focus on Melanoma. Clinical Track and Tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.
The successful candidate will strengthen the clinical and clinical research efforts in Melanoma oncology, utilize translational research opportunities and resources at the University, attend inpatient and outpatient services, and participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center for a growing number of patients with melanoma. The incumbent will actively participate in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. This position is designed for physicians focused on a career of clinical investigation and the provision of outstanding clinical care, including active participation in our educational mission.
